Jonathan “JP” Pokluda is the lead pastor of Harris Creek Baptist Church in Waco, Texas. He was formerly the leader of The Porch in Dallas, Texas, which grew to be the largest weekly young adult gathering of its kind in the country. JP’s authored several books, including the bestseller Welcome to Adulting, Outdated, and his newest release, Why Do I Do What I Don’t Want to Do? JP is also one of the hosts of the podcast Becoming Something: A Podcast for Young Adults in Their 20s and 30s. JP’s partner in ministry is Monica, his wife of seventeen years, and together they disciple their three children.
